BARACOA: Baracoa is located on the extreme Southeastern tip of the island and its
main attractions are to be found in its laid back atmosphere and the
beautiful surrounding tropical countryside. Baracoa is also home to one of
the last surviving indigenous tribes in Cuba, the Yateras.
Description: Hotel Porto Santo was the name given by Admiral Christopher Columbus to Baracoa.
From the hotel you can tour the mountains admire the Farola viaduct or go on
a of trip in cayucas on the Toa river. It is only half a kilometer away from
